Phai Khat's fort was the place of the first battle of the Vietnamese Liberation Army after its founding. Phai Khat is located in Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh district, 7km from Tran Hung Dao forest. Here, at 17 o'clock on December 25, 1944, the Vietnamese propaganda team liberated the local people and destroyed the captive commander with the entire army, collecting weapons of the enemy. This victory opened the tradition of hundreds of defeats of the heroic Vietnamese People's Army.
